Spousal Maintenance/ Alimony

Spousal maintenance/alimony is the payment of monies from one spouse to the other as a means of support. In Arizona, the Court may order spousal maintenance as a part of divorce proceedings if certain legal factors are met.  The Court will need to consider many factors, such as each spouse's income, property, age, health, length of marriage, education, employment history, when determining spousal maintenance awards. Seeking the advice of a qualified attorney will assist you in determining your rights and responsibilities.
